Welcome to the new Right Steps website

Welcome to RightSteps.org, the new online home of Right Steps!  This year, Right Steps is celebrating our 10 year anniversary and it has certainly been a busy one.  We have made a lot of positive changes, while working through the challenges that our work presents in the Nigerian environment.  Our growth is indicative of our success and we have truly been blessed by all of the support from friends, family and supporters all over the world!

As such, we have upgraded the website, in order to facilitate better communications and interactions with our supporters.  We feel that communications is critical to keeping those people who are interested updated on a regular basis.  Therefore, the new website will work to provide updated information in a variety of forums, including the new Right Steps blog.

As the Right Steps Board of Directors reflects on the events over the past ten years, we are diligently working to continue our growth for the next ten years.  In this reflection, we have considered some of the major challenges that Right Steps has faced as an organization, and we will be discussing these things over time via the blog.

One of the most significant challenges that we have faced, though, in terms of the Board’s efforts is simple communications with supporters, as well as educating and informing those who do not yet know about Right Steps and our work in Nigeria.  As such, we are dedicated to using every tool available to connect with previous and new supporters, in efforts to reach out to those people who are interested in this noble work by dedicated servants in Africa.

The mission of Right Steps is our key focus, and as a result, the Board of Directors, our staff and all of the people we work with on a daily basis in Nigeria and the U.S. are dedicated to taking the necessary steps to make sure the next ten years are even more fruitful than the past ten years.

Stay tuned to the blog for regular updates, which will include posts from Chi in the field, general research and information on working in Nigeria, new pictures from Susana Homes, and general updates about news and events related to Right Steps.

As always, we thank you for your loyal support and look forward to working together in making the next ten years a huge success to the benefit of the children!
